Biography

Francisco Mata Lopez is a Design Principal with over 26 years of diverse architectural design experience. As a Project Manager, he has led many complex projects involving coordination of multiple design team members. Francisco has established a reputation for holistic design whereby developing projects that bring continuing value to their communities and clients. Experienced as a Principal & team player, he is mindful of sustainable principles, construction technology and client budgets. He is rooted in tradition yet yields a contemporary flair honoring precedents, climate, culture, context and craft. His project design and management experience includes work in residential, commercial, educational and the civic sectors.

Mr. Lopez received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1997. He takes a proactive role in mentoring aspiring students of architecture.
